Tours of the new Oxford Biochemistry building/Salt Bridges Art Commissions

The University of Oxford Department of Biochemistry are offering weekly tours of their new research laboratories led by scientists, artists and architects involved in the building design and Salt Bridges art commissions. Designed by Hawkins/Brown Architects the building opened in September 2008 and has just won an RIBA Award. The Salt Bridges art commissions include major new works by Nicky Hirst, Tim Head, Peter Fraser and Annie Cattrell each reflecting a different creative collaboration between artists, researchers and designers.
