Exhibition about the restoration of Ightham Mote

The Conservation Exhibition traces the story of the biggest rescue project ever undertaken by the National Trust on a house the size and age of Ightham Mote, taking 15 years and costing £10million. The house remained open to the public throughout this urgent work and pioneered "Conservation in Action" saving it from decay and ensuring the future of Ightham Mote for all to enjoy.
